“I am a little pencil in God’s hands.” Mother Teresa
A board member of the Catholic Writers Guild (St. Johns Chapter), regular contributor to St. Joseph’s Reflections Magazine and past “Poet’s Voice” columnist, Paula Veloso Babadi loves God, her family and words. She wrote her first poem about hope when she was eight.
Now she celebrates the hope grown from plowing through a lifetime of rocky fields. Paula credits her faith-filled parents for planting the seeds and thanks family, friends and even adversity for nourishing the soil.
“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.” Romans 15:4
Growing up in England and Pensacola with Filipino and British parents and marrying into her husband’s Iranian family, she now makes her home in Jacksonville, Florida. The Babadi’s have three sons, one daughter and three delightful grandchildren living close by. It’s time to give back and share the blessings of the harvest.
